Job Duties:
Cleans facilities, removes waste and recycling, and monitors building security and safety by performing such tasks as unlocking/locking entrance doors. Ensures cleanliness, orderliness, and safety in assigned areas.
Hours of Operation:
- 1st Shift (full time) - 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, Monday - Friday
- 2nd Shift (full time) - 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM Monday - Friday
- 3rd Shift (full time) - 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM Monday - Friday
Key Responsibilities:
- Cleans assigned areas
- Disposes of waste and recycling into proper containers
- Cleans and maintains restrooms
- Monitors building security and safety by performing such tasks as unlocking exterior entry doors and/or locking exterior doors when scheduled
- Ensures cleanliness, orderliness, and safety in assigned areas.
- Cleans and maintains floors to ensure cleanliness, orderliness, and safety in assigned areas
- Cleans floors by vacuuming, mopping, buffing, stripping, and waxing in assigned areasExtracts carpet and furniture according to institutional standards
- Maintains clean and clear building interiors to ensure they are free of debris and litter
- Inspects, maintains, and operates equipment in a safe and orderly fashion
This position is not eligible for hybrid work and requires 100% onsite work.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Documents and reports repairs, violations, and pest control needs
- Utilizes basic equipment and supplies to clean assigned facility areas and remove waste and recyclables
- Maintains clean and clear walkways to ensure they are free of debris, litter, snow, and ice
- Monitors and secures facility interior and exterior entrances and reports issues to appropriate entities
- Maintains organization of supply areas and equipment, documents inventory, and requests additional supplies as needed

Compensation: $16.00 per hour
Minimum Qualifications:
- Ability to stand and walk for full shift (4 or 8 hours)
- Ability to frequently lift 10 lbs. with occasional lifting up to 30 lbs. unassisted
- General knowledge of cleaning
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous cleaning experience in an office setting
- Previous cleaning experience in a school setting
- Documented experience using scrubbing, buffing, and carpet machines
