Join Our Team – Kennel Assistant!
We’re looking for a dedicated, punctual, and caring individual to join our fast-paced team! As part of our team, you'll be helping to care for a variety of dogs and ensuring they have a safe and fun time during their visit. This role is ideal for someone who loves working with animals and thrives in an active, dynamic environment.
Shift Details:
Hours: 3:00 PM – 8:30 PM (Evenings)
Weekend availability required - these are our busiest times!
- Weekend shifts are 7-11am or 3:00-8:30pm
We are open 365 days/year, including holidays (holiday shifts are required, but we will do our best to work with you)
Key Responsibilities:
Dog Supervision & Care: Supervise dogs in group play, ensuring they are safe, happy, and comfortable.
Cleaning Duties: Our priority is the dogs, but cleaning comes second! You’ll be responsible for vacuuming, laundry, dishes, cleaning dens, mopping, and picking up after the dogs.
Cleaning goes beyond what’s listed — you’ll be expected to maintain overall cleanliness and hygiene in all areas, which may include scrubbing surfaces, disinfecting play areas, sanitizing equipment, and keeping the facility organized.
Feeding & Medication: Feed the dogs, provide medication as necessary, and assist with any special client requests (such as baths, brushings, etc.).
Diverse Dog Breeds & Sizes: You’ll encounter a wide variety of breeds and sizes of dogs, so a willingness to work with all types is a must! Don’t worry – we’ll provide training to ensure you’re comfortable.
