Description
JOB SUMMARY:
Prepares parts for braze by nickel blasting and braze alloy application.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Applies braze paste to parts ensuring a uniform application.
- Deburrs parts as needed.
- Properly packages parts so they are not damaged while being transported to the next operation.
- Capable of noticing defects in parts (scratches, dents, metal thinning, poor finish) and brings defected parts to Supervisor’s attention.
- In coordination with Maintenance Department, performs preventive maintenance on heat treat equipment.
- Proceeds under general supervision.
- Demonstrates thorough knowledge of and conformity with Ace Precision Quality System work instruction requirements that govern heat treat operations.
- Maintains or exceeds production standards through efficient organization and planning.
- Follows and complies with safety policies and procedures.
- Accurately completes all required documentation.
- Meets attendance policy requirements.
- Contributes to team effort by assisting in areas as needed.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read English and understand sketches, routings, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to communicate effectively with employees and other Company stakeholders.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Requires the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide decimals and fractions.
REASONING ABILITY:
Requires the use of some judgment to comply with instructions, follow prescribed methods, and make minor decisions as to setups, operations, and processes.
